FRONTLINE LEADERS PROGRAM
Unfortunately, Military NCOs have long been ignored by Military Veteran Recruiting Firms across the country, but Proteus has found that NCOs excel tremendously in key mid-level leadership roles in the private sector. Military talent firms and companies nationwide have often fixated on recruiting strictly military officer talent, but this has ultimately resulted in corporate America not fully realizing and benefiting from the frontline leadership strengths NCO’s can bring to organizations.
Sometimes known as “The Backbone of the Military”, NCOs (which start at the rank of E-5) are the boots-on-the-ground, Frontline Leaders, of the U.S. Military. If you have ever wondered what truly makes the U.S. Military the strongest in the world, it is the core strength of the Noncommissioned Officer ranks that form that backbone of the military. The average enlisted leader will earn the rank and responsibilities of a NCO around the 5-year mark of his/her military career. NCO’s are the subject matter experts of the military, they are the technically proficient field leaders who set the example, lead from the front, and who have an enormous amount of leadership experience they can apply to their private sector careers as they transition out of the military.

INTERVIEW & HIRE PROCESS
During this phase, the Proteus recruiting department will fully engage in active and passive recruiting by conducting a thorough analysis of potential candidates and intensely vetting candidates. Proteus will coordinate and conduct two candidate screening sessions for quality control and will have a complete understanding of candidate experience, career goals, salary expectations, and interest in pursuing a particular career opportunity.
Proteus will submit candidates to clients with detailed and standardized summaries to include experience, salary expectations, and any other opportunities that the candidate may be currently pursuing. Candidate submissions will provide candidate availability for a video or onsite interview and recommend 2-3 days/times for scheduling an interview.
Throughout the interview process, Proteus will maintain constant communication with candidates to understand other career opportunities they are actively pursuing that may alter their focus or interview timeline. At the offer stage, Proteus will serve as the liaison to both the candidate and client in offer negotiations.
